Recovery from my surgery was tougher than anticipated. The first few days I felt like I could barely move and I was in tears several times. I felt bad for my husband, while he’s seen the effects of chronic pelvic pain from endometriosis, I usually put on a tougher face. I was glad I was feeling slightly better by the time I went to visit my family. It was really nice to see everyone. We haven’t all been together at the same time since Christmas 2017. My brother flew in and surprised my sister and her family, who didn’t know he was planning on coming into town. It makes me so happy to see my niece and nephews.
When I was at home, I quizzed my sister on her business. I’ve been baking forever, and talked with her while I was home about taking it more professional. Since my screen time is limited, it’s been difficult to find a part-time thing. So, I’m jumping in and embracing my inner pastry chef. While I’m not the artist she is, I’ve always had people compliment my flavors and baking and I enjoy it so much, so I figure I’ll see what I’ve got.
